Vegetable pizza

Vegetable pizza
4 servings

Ingredients
1 amount for basic pizza dough (see basic pizza dough)
4 tablespoons of seasoned tomato puree
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 mashed cloves of garlic
8 leaves of spinach, broken up
125 grams of mixed mushrooms
1 red bell pepper
2 tablespoons of fresh oregano, minced
02 1 teaspoon of dry oregano
60 grams of parmesan cheese, grated
freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. Prepare the basic pizza dough as is explained in the recipe. Cover the base and sides of a greased pan of about 23 cm forming a boarder of about 5 cm high. Spread the tomato puree inside and set aside.
  2. Hat oil in a pan at medium heat and sauté the garlic & spinach for 4-5 minutes. Drain the excess liquid and fill in the pizza with the spinach mix. Add the mushrooms, peppers and oregano. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and season with black pepper. Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is golden and the pasta cooks.

Note
Oven temperature 200C
Fresh parmesan cheese is sold at delicatessens and specific supermarkets. Its better buying it whole and grating the amount you need. Once you’ve tried it, you’ll notice it has a better and smoother taste than the one sold in packages.
