Bun dough

Ingredients
2 cups (250 grams) of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 teaspoons of sugar
60 grams of butter, in pieces
1 egg, lightly beat
½ cup (125 ml) of milk

Preparation

  1. Swift the baking powder and flour together over a bowl. Add the sugar and with your finger tips mix in the butter until the flour feels sandy.
  2. Make a whole in the middle and add the egg, adding the milk by bits until its enough to have soft dough.
  3. Place the dough on a floured table and knead lightly until smooth. With the palm of your hand press the dough evenly forming it the way you want. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the base is cooked and golden.

Oven temperature 200C
This bun dough is ideal when you don’t have time to prepare the pasta with brews yeast. Follow the instructions of the recipe to prepare the pizza covering. Cooking time will generally be shorter when using this dough.
