Sardine and lemon pizza 4 servings
Ingredients 1 amount for basic pizza dough (see basic pizza dough)
Sardine and onion covering 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil 3 sliced onions 3 mashed cloves of garlic 3 tablespoons of fresh herbs, diced 200 grams of drained sardines (canned) 1 teaspoons of grated lemon peel 1 teaspoons of lemon juice freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
Prepare the pizza as explained in the recipe and form a mold 1 cm thick by 30 cm of diameter. Place on a greased pan and put on the side.
Covering: Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the garlic and onion for 5 minutes. Add the herbs, mix and season.
Spread the mix over the pizza, adding the sardines and sprinkle the lemon juice and black pepper. Bake for 10 minutes Lower the oven temperature to 190 C and bake for 15 minutes or until the pizza is golden.
Note Oven temperature 220C Use the fresh herbs you prefer. Dill combines very well with parsley, and if your looking for an exotic taste try mixing coriander, basil and parsley.
